Luis on Keys
Hometown: Matamoros, Tamps, Mexico

Current City: Green Bay, WI

Instrument in the Band: Keyboards

Instruments you can play: Keys, guitar, bass guitar, flute, and a bit of everything

Musical Experience: I have played mostly in churches here in Wisconsin and I have played churches in Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. Coming from playing bass in Tex-Mex and Mexican Regional music, I had to focus on piano. Diversity in churches has had an impact in my life since it's different from place to place. Salsa, merengue, gospel, jazz, and other Latin styles were part of my formal musical background.

Musical Influences: Brian Culbertson, George Duke, Jesus Molina, Corey Henry

Why did you choose to play with Luma Knotty?
I loved the concept of the band, also I saw a great challenge and opportunity to change gears musically and try reggae, funk, rock and mainly the "Luma Style" I like to call it
Drink of choice? Spotted Cow or an authentic Vampiros Mexicanos
